Le Modèle 17

Pavillon Puebla
Avenue Darcel
Parc des Buttes Chaumont
75019 Paris
> M° Buttes Chaumont

A popular model in the 1970‘s, in service in Montreal until 1986.
The famous, spaghetti western style, Model 17 was later retired to make way for photobooths with a more modern look.

Decommissioned, stored away and then used for spare parts for 20 years, it was repaired and made reliable again by the FotoAutomat team in 2010.

This authentic Formica photobooth, once sad to see, has now been returned to its former splendour. It’s now at work in the Buttes Chaumont at the foot of the Puebla Pavillon.
It’s as if this old cowboy had always
been there!
