Color, it was missing…
We’re very happy to finally introduce it to you: the little sister of the renowned Fotoautomat of Montmartre.
Set within its blue oak frame, this booth, built by Fotoautomat from floor to ceiling, took its time to emerge from its shell. Our retro-futuristic engineers in white lab coats pulled their hair out before achieving this result.
A warm chiaroscuro Kodachrome 40 atmosphere, rendered on a premium 300g velvet paper. A system entirely reimagined to offer you vibrant, high-color photography in a brand-new format.
And yet, the process is simple:
a Minitel signal is sent to a Betamax fax machine before being printed onto VHS tape, then transferred onto riso-polaroid paper.
This charming little booth is a marvel of engineering!
You be the judge:
a 100% non-analog photo that may not win over the most uncompromising analog photobooth purists, but which does offer a refreshing alternative for photography adventurers in pink sweaters.
Distinguishing features:
Accepts €1 and €2 coins, cards, Apple Watch, Pez, and spilled fruit juice
